Divers at Pont du Gard
During the summer, you'll often see bronzed young men diving from Pont du Gard into the river Gardon below. I once watched a few of them from the river bank. From the distance they looked very impressive, real hard men. Later on I crossed the aqueduct, and saw one of these bold divers at close quarters. He looked absolutely terrified!
